2012 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

The new Boeing 787 Dreamliner can carry about 250 passengers. This blog was viewed about 1,400 times in 2012. If it were a Dreamliner, it would take about 6 trips to carry that many people.

Click here to see the complete report.

BREAKING NEWS: WordPress just sent this neat report. Not bad for less than a year. Shows you what one can accomplish if you set your mind to it. Thanks for the support, my friends and a Happy healthy New Year to everyone.

Welcome Sixers and friends. Happy New Year to all. You’ve meant a lot to me with comments and friendship.

Last week, Dianne indulged in a fantasy starring Tony Flannigan with her in the cabana, in the shower. So far we have seen them on the hard packed sand in St. Augustine Beach, Florida. And now the pediatrician and the physical therapist in her wet dream.

excerpt in six:

His hands move down to my ample breasts as he pays careful attention to perky nipples standing at attention, and soaps each one as if they are priceless objects.

“My wife died two years ago from  anorexia; a wasted life over a compulsion. I haven’t looked at another woman since and then I fell on top of you, Diane and knew you weren’t a bag of bones. I ran my fingers through your glorious hair and wanted to touch you all over, feel your resilient flesh open to me.”

He soaps my back and slides his hands lower to cup my abundant buns while my insides melt and I tug at his shorts and there he is, a splendid specimen of male in my shower.

Breathless, I cry out, “Now, Tony, now. I can’t wait another minute,” and reach down to feel. . .nothing.

12/23/12 Six Sentence Sunday featuring Love The Way I Am

Welcome to almost the night before Christmas. “May your days be merry and bright and may all your Christmas’s be white. . .” from the lovely old song “I’m dreaming of a white Christmas.”

When last we met, Diane was in the cabana at her beach house enjoying a shower while fantasizing about Tony Flannigan.

excerpt in six: And remember, Sixers, this is a fantasy. She’s alone.

It’s Tony Flannigan, Diane. and I know this is improper and you might scream, call for the police, but please just listen.” Now he rinses off the shampoo and pours some conditioner on my hair.

Blinking, I turn to look at the man in my shower, realize I’m naked, he’s in his bathing suit and what he’s doing feels wonderful and not respectable for the plump pediatrician.

Shampoo finished Tony turns me around and massages my neck and shoulders with soap saying, “Listen, okay?”

At this moment I don’t care what he’s about to tell me, just don’t stop with the massage. No one, no man has touched me with so much tenderness since maybe college, and back then every guy just wanted to get laid.

12/16/12 Six Sentence Sunday featuring Love The Way I Am

Welcome dear Sixers and friends. In a country torn again with sadness, we grieve the loss of children who never had a chance to grow old; to leave a mark on society except for sweet innocense. And to the adults who tried to shield them before disaster and lost their lives, my heart breaks for their families.

We move on as always. This week is more about the life of a young woman and a man who meet on the packed sand of St. Augustine Beach. When last seen, Tony Flannigan waved and ran off down the beach.

excerpt: One of the pre-requisites for a beach house is an outdoor shower. When I bought the old house, I had a contractor tear down the dilapidated shower and build a first class cabana for me; changing room, sauna, the works. In I went, dreams of the unattainable Mr. Flannigan swirling around in my head.  I could have used some help peeling off the swim suit from hell, managed not to look in the full-length mirror and stepped into the shower stall. Water temperature perfect, I reached for the vanilla scented shampoo Tony mentioned and pouring too much on my head, I closed my eyes to protect them from soap bubbles and  fantasized. A girl can dream, can’t she?

12/9/12 Six Sentence Sunday featuring Love The Way I Am

Welcome sixers and friends. Thanks for the lovely responses to Love The Way I Am.     Today at last weeks meeting: a woman, a man, a beach at sunset. He trips over a mound of sand to find her. Tide is rolling in. What happens next?

excerpt in six: Tony Flanigan speaks first.

“You know my name and profession; I know almost nothing about you except you use vanilla scented shampoo, your neck and shoulders are tense but your skin is perfect.”

I stopped in the hot sand, regrouped belief in myself with a few deep breaths: I may be  overweight but so what; I’m proud of my accomplishments. “Diane O’Rourke, pediatrician at the walk-in clinic in town.”

Fortified by the mental shot in the butt, I trudged behind Tony like a chubby squaw. When we reached the wooden planks to my house, I said, “Thanks, nice meeting you, Tony.”

He waved and ran off.

12/2/12 Six Sentence Sunday featuring Love The Way I Am

523800_3563845451216_18294486_n

Welcome Sixers and friends to December, the shortest day coming soon. Do we care? No. Because after that we add another minute of precious daylight to brighten our lives.

I continue with my short story, Love The Way I Am where the competent, insecure about herself, pediatrician meets the hands-on physical therapist and falls in love. Not exactly. She’s dazzled by Tony Flanagan. Enjoy my six.

excerpt:

“I’m in kind of a hurry to see a client in half an hour and I need a shower after a meeting like this.” Tony grinned and indicated his sand-covered hard body deliciousness where a six pack of ab muscles dared to show through.

The only heat between us would be the Florida sun once I stood up.  I had to be at the pediatric walk-in clinic before long, needed a shower and the tide was rolling in fast. I scrambled around on hands and knees gathering my belongings and finally struggled to a standing position. Clumps of sand fell off my body yet Tony stood there, waiting for me.
