April 29, 2012

Hi to all on this splendid Sunday. I welcome your comments. Although I may not write with the searing heat as many of my friends at SSS, there’s still heat, secrets, and always. . .danger.

Emily invites Patrick to her home at the beach for dinner. Instead of dinner, passion overcomes them .

excerpt: The gentlemanly Patrick almost tore off her shirt and when he saw her lace bra, he murmured, “I love lace.” He traced her nipples through the delicate fabric until she unhooked and let him taste the tender tips. Dressed for this special night, Emily stepped out of white shorts  revealing lace panties. Slowly Patrick dropped to his knees, voice hoarse with desire, “The main course.” Emily gasped as he dipped his tongue in the sweetest spot of all. Then lifting his head he smiled, “Hold onto my shoulders, Sweetheart, for the ride of our lives.” for more snippets where you can read chapters on my author pages

Welcome SSS members to another Sunday and please don’t be shy about leaving comments. My writing is not always as hot as others but check it out. The heat factor is there..and the danger.

Emily Kendricks invites lawyer Patrick Corwin to meet at a party at her swim and tennis club. After a good time playing ‘getting to know you’ she’s ready to leave.

excerpt: Patrick removed the smallest cell phone she had ever seen from an inside pocket of his jacket, flipped it open, keyed in 911, and placed it in her hand. “Hold this in your left hand as you drive and be aware at all times of where you are, what street, what town.”

Seems overly cautious to me because I’m driving straight home just a few blocks away.” Emily felt uneasy and wondered why was Patrick so protective and territorial?

She tried to give the phone back but he shook his head.

I’ll get it next time we meet.” for more snippets where you can read chapters on my author pages

Another beautiful day for SSS. I’m still learning how to get my new website just so. Bear with me and please leave comments.

In the introduction to my book STARTING OVER, you met Emily Kendrick, a recent widow. She’s track coach of the local college in St. Augustine, Florida where she’s lived for many years. Unbeknownst to Emily, someone in an ocean beach mansion is watching her as she runs on the hard packed sand.

Excerpt: Binoculars slammed against the railing of the widow’s walk where a watcher had had his eyes on the long-legged runner for months. From his well hidden perch high up on the mansion over-looking the Atlantic Ocean,  sat  infamous broker Clifford Lansdale. Edgy, under investigation for fraud, he muttered to himself. “She’s mine.” Fragments of the expensive binoculars lay at his feet. for more snippets where you can read chapters on my author pages

Wishing everyone the happiest Easter on this glorious Sunday. Many thanks to those who leave constructive comments. I appreciate your valuable time. And now for a new book, STARTING OVER.

Unaware of binoculars trained on her every move, Emily Kendrick runs fast on the hard-packed sand of St. Augustine Beach. Alone on this early morning, tears spill down her tanned face as she runs to heal her heart  still heavy from the recent loss of her husband. A lone runner reaches Emily’s side.  The watcher slams binoculars into the widow’s walk perch high above from his vantage point.

Excerpt: She ran as fast as she could on the hard packed sand this early morning in February, still cold in St. Augustine, Florida.  Always surefooted, not as steady since Larry died eight months before, Emily Kendrick stumbled and caught her balance. There was a sense of someone watching her, close to her, yet she ran into no one on the deserted beach. Tears spilled down her face just as the hurdles set for the track team came up. Easy leap over the first one, the second knocked over by a careless foot and Emily fell; she didn’t get up. for more snippets where you can read chapters on my author pages

Welcome to my new website and SSS. Thanks to all who comment and leave constructive comments. I appreciate your time and effort.

This week in RECONSTRUCTING CHARLIE, Charlie experiences her first orgasm.

Tentative at first, as if we’d never kissed before and then more urgent, Tom didn’t do anything but caress my back and arms with sensual stroking and somehow in a public place, I caught fire. Our tongues started a rhythmic sucking, slow then faster as heat spread through my body. I moaned as shocks began in my most guarded private core and rocketed through me. Is this what kissing him did to me? Weak and breathless, I fell against him and whispered, “What happened?”

“I think, my Charlie, you experienced an orgasm.” for more snippets where you can read chapters on my author pages
